About Melanie J Myers Scott
Following a school bus accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down, Melanie J, Myers Scott has found profound purpose in her God-given talent as an artist. “I wasn’t in an accident, I was in a purpose. With God’s help, I’ve been able to share with others through art. I began drawing photo-realistic drawings of things I was passionate about such as the Cincinnati Reds, baseball, portraits of Cincinnati Reds players and portraits of other athletes. My current passion is fluid paintings of flowers in alcohol ink.” Melanie graduated with a 4.0 GPA with her degree in commercial art. Melanie’s work has been featured in art exhibits. She has won awards for her work and has been profiled in several publications such as Cincinnati magazine and Reds Report. Melanie lives in Springboro Ohio, where she works in her home studio. She is inspired by the beauty of God’s creation as she sees beauty rise from the ashes.
